A potters club brought us together and we 3 hit it off! Janet had taken classes with Mary’s husband, Margery had met Mary during a pottery tour so, as a result, Janet and Margery were introduced. After talking they found their backgrounds and philosophies were very similar! A kernel of an idea grew into the “Babes”.

We are “The Babes of Mud and Fire and Friends” because every now and then we have fellow potters that join us in showing.
