Mary Curtis, now in her eighties, has devoted sixty years to the arts, four decades of them focused on pottery. With her husband, Don, lovingly built their studio and two kilns, creating a practical and inclusive workspace. Together with their son they sold their work at countless craft fairs over the years, sharing their creations widely. Don also established and led the ceramics department at the University of Arkansas, shaping generations of potters. Several of those potters have worked, laughed, and played together in the studio while becoming close, enduring friends.
